Carly Chertos, Owner

Carly is an athlete, a competitor, a coach and a certified nutritional coach. She played Division I College soccer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee; and since then has dedicated her life to health and fitness.

 “I understand the importance of movement and the empowerment that is created when you dedicate yourself to something bigger than yourself.” 

Carly takes pride in designing personal training sessions and fitness classes that are not only dynamic and specific; but that also keep the client engaged, entertained and operating in all planes of motion.


Samantha Jean Link, Owner

Samantha has always been a person of movement; engaging in various sports and dance. She truly found her niche in 2010 when she was introduced to the practice and power of yoga. She received her yoga certification in Bali in 2014.

“Yoga taught me to slow down and embrace the present moment in whatever that may be at the current time.”

Samantha is also a personal trainer and believes in the balance of both yoga and fitness. She knows that yoga can bring a certain peace of mind that allows a person to block out the noise and help find direction in life.

“When yoga is combined with weight training it is possible to accomplish all health and fitness goals; which can then breathe stability to all aspects of life.”


Joe Anklam, Personal Trainer

Athletics are the aspect of Joe’s life that truly have shaped him into the person he is today. As Joe grew up, athletics made him a very goal oriented person. He was, and still is today, always working to make himself more athletic, stronger, and overall healthier so that he can improve his performance in the gym & prolong his life to the fullest.⁣⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣⁣⁣Joe began to do research and really find out how he could achieve the healthiest and happiest version of himself. This is where his love of fitness really began.⁣⁣⁣⁣

”Since my initial curiosity, I have learned so much about nutrition, different training styles and the human body. I continue to hunt for new information and learn as much as I can. This process is never ending, especially in this ever changing industry.⁣⁣” ⁣⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣Helping others achieve and exceed their goals and ultimately reach their best physical and mental health is what motivates Joe daily.

Kate Yanke, Yoga Instructor

Kate began her yoga practice in 2002 with a Denise Austin Yoga VHS tape, and hasn’t looked back since. In 2009 she completed her first 200hr teacher training, and began teaching yoga.

Always a student first, Kate has studied Vinyasa Yoga with various teachers, but takes her greatest influence and inspiration from Trish Washburn, Meg Galarza, and Jim Bennit.

With a background in dance and competitive swimming, Kate finds herself drawn to a strong, fluid, and dynamic practice on the mat.

In addition to living a yoga-centered life, Kate loves to cook, bike, surf, SUP, and spend time with her amazing daughter, Zoe, and best-friend-turned-husband, Scott.⁣


Jeff Herro, Personal Trainer

The word “coach” in the dictionary refers to an old eastern European word from a city in Hungary where they use to make stage coaches! It means to take somebody somewhere, to go on a journey! People ride coach when they ride a train or take a plane! I am a “Coach”!

I believe as a coach it is my great honor to go on a journey with you! My job, my focus is to help you take you to this thing or place that you want! I will do my best to get you closer to the place you want to go!

We are going to go on a journey together, we will define goals, achieve success and feel failure! We will laugh, smile, cry, complain, argue, celebrate and be great! This journey may be long or just a moment in time either way I’d be honored to take you for a ride! “I am a COACH.”


Annie Freyschlag, Yoga Instructor

Annie Freyschlag is a yoga teacher, functional nutrition junkie, animal lover, and serial entrepreneur.
With a formal yoga training in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Breath Coaching, Yoga Trapeze®, Yoga Wheel, and Flexibility Training from the Yoga Teacher’s College in Barcelona, Spain, Annie teaches engaging and fun fitness-based yoga classes.
She moved to the Milwaukee area in December 2021 from her home state of Colorado.
Annie was drawn to yoga after working as an entrepreneur for the first part of her career. Craving balance and stress management techniques, she stumbled upon yoga’s power of movement and breath, and quickly fell in love.
Annie is passionate about helping her students learn the power of yoga to strengthen and heal their bodies and minds, just as she has experienced.
In her down time you will find her at home with a good book, enjoying the outdoors with her beloved black malamute Mato, or on the yoga mat, or on a long-distance bike ride.

Grabiel Meza, Cardio Kickboxing Instructor

I am a coach, competitor and certified personal trainer. Muay Thai and kickboxing have been a big part of my fitness journey. For me that’s how my fitness journey started.
Even though my fitness journey began with Muay Thai, it has evolved into so much more. I enjoy all aspects of fitness and love helping people reach their goals.

Nikki Tioni, Yoga Instructor

Nikki’s journey with movement started when she gained 70 pounds after a severe ankle injury. She found fitness and yoga as a way to not only take back control of her health and lose weight, but also as a way to relieve stress.
Her love of fitness and yoga took her to the next step when she left her career as an accountant and became a Service and Operations Manager for a gym. She then became a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor.
“I truly love helping people improve their health through coaching a high energy and sweat pouring class.”
During this time, Nikki was a skater on a local roller derby team and she then found more of the importance of yoga, not only from a physical stand-point but a mental one.
Nikki then hung-up her skates and replaced them with a yoga mat. She completed her RYT-200 in 2020 through Healium Hot Yoga.

Sandra Valenta, Yoga Instructor

Sandra stood in her very first mountain pose in 2004 as a practice student for a good friend going through a teaching certification. After that introduction, she attended yoga classes sporadically until committing to a regular practice in the spring of 2019. Over that following summer Sandra struggled to make some pivotal personal decisions and was also presented with her own yoga teacher training opportunity. By fall she took a deeper dive into yoga and completed the 200hr YTT in 2020 – “just to learn more about it…not to teach.”

“In contemplating the decision to enter the YTT program, my head said to figure out that other stuff first. But my heart said, in a quieter voice, you’re doing this no matter what. The heart space is wiser. I have no regrets.”

Sandra infuses her vinyasa flow practice with her love of nature, poetry, and personal experiences that may relate to a yoga concept or asana. She may also draw inspiration from a few of her favorite things: her two daughters, clay sculpting, vegetable gardening, cross country skiing, cooking for others, and Door County/Hawaii.
